A message sent is not a message received

Planned outage and incidents
Warn the whole company before a migration, announce a server restart, or tell everyone that the incident they are calling about is already known. Targeted at the affected sites only.

A malicious campaign is circulating: warn every workstation in seconds, with a required acknowledgement so you can prove the instruction was delivered. Far faster than an email nobody opens.

- Message composer
- Rich text editor with your formatting, colours, images and an image library. Add a title icon, pick one of eight title bar colours, attach your logo. A live preview shows exactly what the workstation will display – same stylesheet, same template.
- Templates
- Save a recurring message as a reusable template so a broadcast that must always look the same does, whoever sends it.
- Presentation
- Pop-up window or scrolling ticker, per message. For the window: close button, automatic closing after a delay you set, or both, plus an option to keep it above every other window. For the ticker: top or bottom anchoring, scrolling speed, number of passes, and a pause control.
- Read receipts
- Delivery and display are recorded per workstation. Require an explicit acknowledgement and the close button stays disabled until the box is ticked – proof of communication, timestamped.
- Targeting
- The whole fleet, or a precise selection: individual machines, directory users and organizational units synchronised from Active Directory, machine groups and user groups you build yourself, and combined groups that mix several criteria with AND, OR and exclusions.
- Scheduling
- Send now, save as a draft, or schedule the broadcast for a future date and time. A message can be given a validity period and expire by itself.
- Approval workflow
- A sensitive message can be routed to an approver before it goes out, with two-factor authentication required at the moment of approval, a stand-in when the approver is away, and a full decision trail.
- Fleet inventory
- The list of workstations builds itself as agents enroll: hostname, operating system, domain membership, agent version, online or offline status, last contact. Enrollment uses one multi-use code for the whole fleet; each machine then holds its own revocable token.
- Directory synchronisation
- Users and organizational units are fed automatically by the agents from Active Directory, so targeting follows your existing structure instead of a list you maintain by hand.
- Teams and permissions
- Roles are built permission by permission, and scoped per team: each team sees and broadcasts only what concerns it. Anti-escalation rules prevent anyone granting themselves more than they hold.
- Audit log
- Broadcasts, approvals, permission changes and administrative actions are timestamped and kept, so you can answer "who sent that, and when".
- Account security
- Two-factor authentication by authenticator app, which can be made mandatory for administrators and approvers. Login rate limiting, and email one-time codes for sensitive operations.
- Secured broadcasts and access
- Traffic between workstations and the server is encrypted end-to-end with TLS, every machine holds a revocable token, and access is protected by two-factor authentication. Approving a sensitive broadcast requires a fresh code at approval time: the send itself is locked down, not just the login.
- Organisation settings
- Your identity and logo, the sender address for transactional email, your own SMTP server if you prefer, and the defaults applied to new messages.
- English, French and Spanish
- Interface language is chosen per user account. One organisation can mix them with no particular configuration.

A lightweight agent on the workstations
A discreet program installs on Windows PCs, by Group Policy with the MSI or through your usual software distribution tool. It enrolls itself with one shared code, then holds its own revocable token. No interface, nothing in the user's way – just an icon in the notification area.
You compose the message
From your browser: the text, the formatting, the presentation, the recipients and the moment of broadcast. The preview shows precisely what employees will see, because it uses the very same rendering engine as the agent.
It appears, and you follow it
The broadcast reaches the targeted workstations within seconds. The dashboard shows what was delivered, what was displayed and what was acknowledged. A workstation that is switched off receives the message at the next session – nothing is lost.
MFA at the heart of every access
A tool that reaches every workstation in the company cannot rely on a password alone. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) protects both logins and sensitive broadcasts.
Authenticator app
One-time codes generated by a mobile app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, FreeOTP…). No SMS, no cost, no hardware to hand out.
Enforceable per role
Make MFA mandatory for administrators and approvers. The accounts that reach the whole fleet cannot opt out.
Protected approval
Approving a sensitive message requires a fresh code at approval time: the broadcast action itself is locked down, not just the login.
Security and confidentiality
A tool that reaches every workstation in the company has to be beyond reproach on this point.
Hosted in France
Your data stays on servers located in France. Traffic between workstations and the server is encrypted with TLS throughout.

The agent does not watch

How does Nuntivo display messages on employee desktops?
A lightweight Windows agent runs in each user session and displays the message either as a pop-up window in the middle of the screen or as a scrolling ticker anchored to the top or bottom. The message is rendered from the same stylesheet used in the web preview, so what you compose is exactly what employees see.
Can I tell who actually read the message?
Yes. Delivery and display are recorded for each workstation, and you can require an explicit read receipt: the close button stays disabled until the employee ticks the acknowledgement box. That gives you proof of communication, which matters for regulatory obligations.
Do I need to install a server?
No. The back office is a web application hosted in France. The only thing you deploy is a lightweight agent on the Windows workstations, through Group Policy, an MSI or your usual software distribution tool.
How do I target specific employees or departments?
You can target the whole fleet, individual machines, directory users and organizational units pulled automatically from Active Directory, machine groups and user groups you create yourself, or combined groups that mix several criteria with AND, OR and exclusions.
Does the agent monitor what employees do?

What happens if a workstation is switched off?
The message waits. The agent stores what it has pulled and displays it at the next session opening, so a published message is always shown – even after a restart or an offline period.
Does Nuntivo support multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
Yes. Nuntivo supports two-factor authentication via a mobile authenticator app (one-time codes, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator). MFA can be made mandatory for administrators and approvers, and a fresh code is required when approving a sensitive broadcast: both access and sends are protected.
Is Nuntivo available in languages other than English?
The interface is available in English, French and Spanish, chosen per user account. A single organisation can mix them without any particular configuration.
